About

"As a mother to two daughters making their way through middle and high school, and a dedicated friend to many others also raising Gen Z and Gen Alpha children, I understand the complexities and joys of connection on a deeply personal level. These roles ground me and fuel my professional purpose.

“For over two decades, I've poured that understanding into my work as a therapist, specializing in interpersonal neurobiology, attachment theory and the autonomic nervous system to help families build secure relationships and navigate life's challenges."

What makes me different from other parent coaches?

As well as being a coach, I have worked with children and families as a therapist.  I completed my Masters in Counseling in 1999 and in the intervening years have taken endless numbers of trainings so that I could provide therapy with excellence.

Whereas many parent coaches work with the caregivers to help make behavioral changes, I desire to work with you AND your child.  I also believe that behavioral changes may last a while but without examining what is causing the behaviors in the first place, troubling behaviors will return or return in a different skin.

I want you and your family to experience relational change - the kind of change that your child can bring into adulthood.  The relationship you have with your child now will be the blueprint upon which all future relationships are built.  Let’s make sure there is a strong foundation.

Share your story with me.  At the end of our free 30 minute Meet and Greet, I will offer ideas of what our journey together can look like.
