WHY I DO THIS WORK
For two decades I sat with other people's families and knew exactly what to do. Then my own daughter hit middle school, and I felt the floor go out from under me.
I had the training. I had the credentials. And in the moments that mattered most with my own child, I still got pulled backward and forward, still reacted from somewhere else. Living through that, and finding my way out of it, taught me something no degree did. It's the difference between knowing the theory and being able to stay in the room. That's what I help mothers find.

A LITTLE OF WHERE I COME FROM
I grew up around the world, in Malaysia, South Korea, Hong Kong, and Australia. I ran away to the circus for a while. I learned American Sign Language and studied at Gallaudet. I've spent my life paying attention to how people connect when words aren't enough.
All of it taught me the same thing I teach now: connection is something you learn to do on purpose.
