The Golden Hours Retreat

She's pulling away, and nothing you've tried is working. A private three-day retreat for you and your middle school daughter, led by a family therapist, before the pattern sets for the teen years.

It's not just a phase anymore.

The one-word answers. The bedroom door that stays shut. The phone she reaches for before she reaches for you. The fights that come out of nowhere, and end with both of you in tears or not speaking at all.

You've tried asking about her day. You've tried giving her space. You've read the books. Maybe you suggested a counselor, and she refused to go. You've planned something fun, and still felt like she was miles away, sitting right next to you.

None of this means something is wrong with her, or with you. But a pattern is forming between you, and the years between 11 and 14 are when it sets. The shut door at 12 can become the daughter who tells you nothing at 16. The connection you build now is the one she will carry into high school and beyond.

These are the golden hours.

They don't last forever.

Three days. Just the two of you.

The Golden Hours Retreat is a private three-day, two-night getaway for just the two of you. No schedules, no siblings, no screens pulling her away.

Each retreat is built around your daughter: what she loves, what lights her up, and what your relationship needs right now. Guided coaching, play, and real adventure are woven together, with plenty of unplanned time to simply be together.

She won't feel like she's in therapy. She'll feel like she's on a trip with her mom. That's the point.

But every activity is chosen by a family therapist with 27 years of experience, so the fun is doing real work. You'll come home with memories you both keep, and with practical tools to stay close as she grows.
